How to Use This Site:

1.) You can use the search bar located in the top left of this site, for keywords of anything you may be curious about. Just type in your word and click "SEARCH BLOG" located next to the text box.

However... this search is really only effective if your topic is specific. You see, it searches throughout all the words within all entries, and every blog that has an instance of that keyword you typed will be included in the search results.
For example: if you type "Jesus" I might have the name Jesus at least once in nearly every entry, so you won't narrow your search very much. All entries with the word "Jesus" will be in your search results.
Instead: If you were to search say, "Jesus praying mount of olives", these keywords would surely narrow your search to a more specific search result.

Bible Translations

Here you will find a list of many different bible translations that are out there. I think one of the big reasons why some Christians don't get into the word of God as much as they should, is because they simply have a hard time understanding what their reading. Maybe the wording is to complicated, or you feel like you're reading an Shakespearian play... whichever the reason, these is many bible versions out there that can help this! Translations like: the New International Version, or the Contemporary English Version, kind of simplify the wording so that your getting the same message, but are more able to comprehend it. There are also bibles directed to a certain audience with daily devotionals for men, women, teens, young adults and children. You can find bibles with designer leather covers, fun flower or lady bug patterns on them, and also smaller ones so that you may carry the word with you everywhere. There are fun, beautiful children's bibles to help strike their interest with pictures and stories that they can look back on when they're older. Also there are bibles designed for teens and to help them with their specific struggles and help them grow in Christ spiritually as they grow physically. The choices will truly astound you. If I have any advice for you at all, find the largest Christian bookstore near you, bring a friend, a new believer... and show them just how much is available out there to help them learn and worship Jesus.

In the mean time, I've whipped up a quick overview of a some popular translations so you can become familiar with some, and also to see the difference between them. Using only one common verse between them all, you might notice some are quite similar, which is true, there are some translations with only slight differences here and there, but some you will see are quite different. The most important thing to notice here though, is that all are the same "Bible" we are all looking for, just worded differently. I encourage you to see which "wording" you like most, and read further on by clicking the linked title of that translation. You will be directed to a site called BibleGateway.com. There you will find the full bible available in each version.

YouTube channels are popping up from people all over the world, that give glory and praise to the Lord Jesus Christ. While yes, they're unfortunately a rarity still in the midst of a lot of pointless garbage on YouTube, some are truly getting The Word out there. Here are a few that I've come across that has really not only strengthened my faith, but also encouraged me to start my own site. So please, check these people out.

*Warning*
There are a lot of different ways to translate the words in the bible, and many Christians are divided in their beliefs themselves. So I ask, I IMPLORE you to go and check out the word of the Bible for your own validation of what some people say. These are the last days, and while I may like some of the things these channels portray, I may not agree with everything. YOU MUST take responsibility for your own truth and recognize when someone is speaking directly out of the Bible or is translating in their own opinion. ALWAYS keep your Bible handy to double check. It's possible that people can get their lines crossed. Even me! That's the human condition.

1.) Mission Statement
Well hello there! Let me please thank you very much for reading this! I honestly don't know exactly what to write, what to say, to help your faith develop. Nor will I ever claim to. I am, by my own standards, a "baby" Christian. And only wish to share the thoughts that weigh heavily on my heart as they do. This blog generally, is just a "thinking out loud" development, with the possibility of God's own agenda woven in, as I will often ask God to tell me what to write. I don't know if anyone will read this, or if many people will, I just want to talk about God. I may also dive in research to answer questions I may have myself, of God and the Bible. So with that said, I am not a minister. I do not have any degrees or any schooling which would give me any authority over the words of the Bible, or that of Christianity as a whole. I'll make mistakes... I'm bound to! I'm imperfect to it's strictest definition. I will however promise you this: I mean only to help you understand the beautiful living being that is our GOD! I'm learning just as you, and hope only to learn along with you. I will only support my opinions with verses of the bible (Zondervan NIV study bible). I ask, I implore you to look for yourself the verses I site, and I beg you to challenge and seek for yourself the truth. It is the end times after all... it is equivalently important to seek in the bible for yourself. God wants you to be sure, he wants you to feel peace with your own sought faith.

2.) Citations, Recommendations, Bible Versions:
I will bring up topics that I'm thinking about, or have been discussing in my own nondenominational Christian church. Basically anything that is on my heart. I may give bible verses to check out, make recommendations of great praise and worship songs, books, whatever. I'll try to make them in red so that you can pick them out easily. I will be citing out of my own bible, which again is a Zondervan NIV Study Bible (NIV), so if you're reading a King James Version (KJV) , New American Standard Bible (NASB), New International Reader's Version (NIrV), New Revised Standard Version (NRSV), Today's New International Version (TNIV), that's probably why your reading a little something different. But do not fret! Generally all these versions say the same thing, but are just worded differently. All are still the words of God.

3.) Commenting, Questions, Censorship:
I will always allow comments and questions, but two things I must explain. 1.) I will not allow any comments/questions that are either blasphemous, condemning, criticism that is not constructive in any way, any opposition to my Christian beliefs or any challenges posed to seek destruction of my faith or beliefs. I am not making a politically correct blog. I am not satisfying the atheists, agnostics, or other cult/religion's followers by feeding into argumentative debates, nor am I advertising their false pretenses. I am here solely to speak the word of the gospel and to praise him whom is the King of Kings and Lord over all. There are plenty other places to speak of blasphemy, and to advertise falsehood of other religions, and I leave it to those sites to do so, but here on mine, I will be a faithful and dutiful follower of Jesus Christ and will not in any way allow such insolence. Seek blasphemy elsewhere. 2.) If there is a question you have for me, there is a great possibility I will not have the answer personally or right away. I am as I've said, a student just as you. I may need to seek assistance from either the bible, my mother (a strong prayer warrior and passionate follower of our Lord with much experience with the words of the bible) my pastor, or those at my Church. If I cannot answer it after all of those options are ventured (which is unlikely) I implore you to keep seeking that answer. Just because I or a handful of people I know cannot answer you, doesn't mean the Lord cannot find a way to give you the answer you seek. To give up on truth is to give up on God. God is truth.

4.) Suggesting topics:
I would LOVE recommendations! Please! Tell me what you'd like me to talk about in depth or elaborate on! I wish only to learn along with you! I may need some time to learn about the subject to speak intelligently and accurately upon it. Just give me some time, and hopefully I'll be able to help you understand the topic you seek. I however may or may not use a suggestion, in an actual post if I do not find it to be beneficial for a full post, but I will make sure I can answer you personally through email or other way.
